The Mount Vernon Bulldogs sent a pair of wrestlers to the finals of the 23-team tournament, good for a 10th-place overall tournament.

The Bulldogs’ George Hausauer lost a 5-0 decision to Selah’s Robert Expinoza in the championship match at 125 pounds, and Steliacoom’s Jordan Flynn edged the Bulldogs’ Joe Barrington-Richards, 9-8 at 160.

Hausauer had pinned Kentwood’s Teddy Zografos in 5:44 to reach the finals; Barrington-Richards earned a decision over Matt Schedler, 8-5 in the semis.

In semifinal action, Kalama’s Sean McDonald beat the Bulldogs’ Danial Osburn 5-2 at heavyweight.
